Rolling hills, wild running game and a backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro are images that spring to mind when thinking of the Chyulu also known as the green hills of Africa.
The striking Chyulu Hills National Park is located in south-eastern Kenya, nestled between the Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks. Famed for its large bull elephants, lion, leopard and zebra – and with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background – It also flaunts spectacularly diverse landscapes and is often referred to as the ‘Volcano Hills’ due to its dramatic topography of deep lava tube caves, craters and cones. As well as the volcanic landscape, you can explore the verdant green hills by vehicle, mountain bike or on horseback.
