Kenya’s cosmopolitan capital, Nairobi is an exciting and polarizing city that lies as a gateway to the astounding natural beauty of Eastern Africa. A great place to stop before or after your luxury safari holiday, the city flaunts a welcoming culture, alluring museums, vibrant nightlife and surprisingly impressive dining scene, all while sitting on the doorstep of Nairobi National Park – home to world’s densest concentration of black rhinos, alongside zebra, giraffes, buffalo and leopards.
It is a convenient base to access the several local attractions which include the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen Museum among others. Nairobi has 2 airports: Jomo Kenyatta International airport for international travel and Wilson airport for domestic and safari circuit flights. A road transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Wilson Airport takes anywhere between 30 to 40 minutes.

When to Visit
The best time to visit Amboseli National Park is during the dry season from June to October and January to February. April and May are beautifully green but can be very wet with heavy rainfall and low tempratures.
